Robin Clarke

Robin Clarke

CEO

Dr. Clarke is a practicing internist with over 15 years of healthcare experience and extensive expertise in care transformation, clinical analytics, and population health.

As a federally funded health services researcher, Robin is broadly published on innovations in medical home transformation, population behavioral healthcare, and care coordination. As a physician executive for UCLA Health’s ACO, Robin developed and led the enterprise-wide care transformation infrastructure. This data, analytics, and clinician infrastructure continues to expand now including over 1000 clinicians, all specialties and sites of care, and dozens of QI projects. It enables UCLA to achieve its ACO financial and clinical goals, is the topic of national publication and presentations, and is a model being replicated by other delivery systems.

These experiences inspired Robin to co-found Ursa Health with a vision that meaningful value-based care transformation is possible through scaling customized, data-driven, clinician-led solutions.

Robin received his medical degree from Cornell University, and his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. He completed residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Medical Center. He completed the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at UCLA/RAND and received his Masters in the Science of Health Services at the UCLA School of Public Health. He is Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
